The work
behind
the wonder.

A working workshop. Human hands. An instrument with a voice of its own.

PAN INC / OUR CRAFT

It begins with steel.
It becomes something
you can feel.

Pan Inc makes handpans and steelpans in Gqeberha. The work is hands-on: forming, shaping, tuning, listening and refining. Each instrument brings together the material, the maker and the person who will play it.

The shell becomes the foundation for everything you will hear. A surface ready to become an instrument.

Each note finds its place in the voice of the instrument. The maker works, listens and returns to the sound.

THE LAST WORD BELONGS TO THE SOUND

Listen.
Adjust.
Listen again.

Tuning takes care and attention. The shape of a note, the way it responds and the relationship between notes all matter. This is the patient work behind an instrument that invites you to keep playing.

THE MAKING IS PART OF THE MUSIC.

MADE HERE. PLAYED YOUR WAY.

A workshop,
not a production line.

Some instruments start a musical habit. Others become part of a player’s working life. The workshop helps with range, scale, configuration, finish and the practical details around owning the instrument.

That relationship continues through tuning, assessment and care advice.
